The 14th Annual Authors’ Institute
Discover the inside world of authors. Learn from a different
notable children’s author each day through presentations,
round-table discussions and activities.

at 508.929.8125. The cost of this program is $685, which includes lunch.
Graduate and professional development credits awarded.
Kate has written numerous books for students at the
early-reading levels and two chapter books: Which
Puppy? and Henry the Dog with No Tail.
Chris is an author/illustrator of children’s books and
winner of Caldecott Medals for The Hello, Goodbye
Window, 2006; and A Ball for Daisy, 2012.
John is an author/illustrator of picture novels for
children and older readers. His book Blackout, a
2012 Caldecott Honor Book, was a New York Times
best-seller. He also illustrated the Percy Jackson &
the Olympians series by Rick Riordan.
