the recent MTA Just for New Teachers
Conference — the idea he knew
he could use right away in his own
“In our presentation we
included an activity called ‘Question
Generation’ based on Bloom’s
Taxonomy,” said Laura Vago, a
middle-school science teacher in
Malden. “It involves a poster of a
figurative ‘mountain’ split into six
levels, each corresponding to one level
of Bloom’s Taxonomy” — that is,
remembering, understanding, applying,
analyzing, evaluating and creating.
