who had taught at Byfield Middle
School and Malden Junior High
School. Oct. 5.
Madeleine “Maddie” I. Boucher,
75, of Frostproof, Florida, formerly of
Athol. Taught first grade in Gardner for
38 years. Oct. 3.
Joseph P. Clisham, 86, of Clinton.
Was a mathematics teacher at Classical
and Doherty high schools in Worcester
for 40 years, retiring in 1992. Oct. 16.
Francis A. Colosi, 90, of
Marshfield, formerly of Randolph. Was
an educator and administrator in the
Randolph Public Schools for more than
40 years. Was active in the development
of several school programs in Randolph
and was involved in developing the
Blue Hills Regional Technical School in
Canton. Aug. 25.
Paul J. Corcoran, 76, of
Lancaster. Began his teaching career
at Hudson High School and was an
industrial arts teacher for nearly 30
years until his retirement. Sept. 27.
Diana C. Crooks, 74, of
Bellingham. Was an elementary school
teacher in Randolph for five years and
in Easton for 33 years. Sept. 16.
Jeremy Eschelbacher, 44, of
Berlin. Was a physics teacher in the
science and technology department at
Grafton High School. Aug. 17.
Anne G. Kivlan, 75, of Raynham.
Was a reading specialist for the
Brockton Public Schools for 38 years.

Mario Marchisio, 93, of West
Boylston. Was the varsity football
coach at Shrewsbury High School for
21 years. Aug. 19.
Joseph Marino, of West Roxbury.
Was an elementary school teacher for
the town of Needham for 35 years.

Kathleen Palli, 64, of Bellingham.
Taught in the history and gifted and
talented programs at Franklin High
School for 34 years, retiring in 2007.

Robert C. Powers, 85, of East
Walpole. Served as the principal of
Blackstone Millville Regional High
School and retired in 1997 after 40
years in education. Aug. 10.
Jayne Shindler, 78, of Arden,
N.C., formerly of Springfield. Taught
third grade in Hampden for 20 years.

Emily Zarnoch, of Quincy. Was a
teacher for Quincy Public Schools and
was about to start teaching at Central
Middle School. Aug. 4.
